EZ Flash Vi Details
If you own a Nintendo 3DS / DSi, the EZFlash Vi card is a good solid card (unless splashing out on the top of the range Supercard DSTWO / Cyclo DS iEvolution, of course). The EZFlash Vi tends to pride itself on being a very solidly made card at a lower price bracket. It is a very sturdy card and is quite reliable as well, a good happy-medium choice for the enthusiastic homebrew user.
Compatibility: DS, DS Lite, DSi and 3DS
Pros: Rock-solid and works on all DS platforms. No different software needed for a 3DS - it just works!
Drawbacks: Lacks the insane number of features of the Cyclo iDS / Supercard DSTWO / M3i Zero, but is a beautifully made, sturdy card.
NDS-Gear's Recommendation: For users who have a 3DS or will be upgrading in the future. Rock-solid, high memory capacity, and 3DS/DSi compatible.

Buy EZFlash Vi Card
The EZFlash Vi card is a great example of a DS / DSi / 3DS card being released after noticing and rectifying the mistakes of its predecessors. The EZFlash Vi was released for the DSi a while after other mainstream cards like the Acekard, R4i and M3 were introduced to the world.
However, the design and electronics architecture of the EZFlash Vi was superior for several reasons. For instance, the spring-loaded micro SD slot that furnished the original R4 had a habit of breaking down after approximately half a year of use, so this was removed altogether in favour of a push slot design on the new EZFlash Vi. This development allowed for the physical build of the card to simply be superior to previous cards.
An additional development is the moving of the regular micro SD card slot from the top to the side of the card. This means that there is no chance a micro SD card could fall out during play or become dislodged in some way, and therefore users of the EZFlash Vi found it easier to play in environments where they travelled around a lot, such as on public transport.
EZFlash Vi Firmware / EZFlash Team
The EZFlash Vi card is produced by the EZFlash team, who have a reputation for being prompt with software updates and responding well to the community. The EZFlash team were founded in 2000 and a good example of their work was their reaction speed when Nintendo initially released the DSi 1.4 firmware. The EZFlash Vi people took merely seven days to patch the DS card in such a way that users never noticed the patch after the fix was applied. As a result, the EZFlash team were the first team to successfully make their cards compatible with the DSi 1.4 firmware.
EZFlash Vi Support
The primary reason that the EZFlash Vi is proving to be quite popular among DSi gamers is their levels of interaction with the gaming community. The EZFlash team hosts an online message board, or forum, on the Sosuke website that serves as a troubleshooting hotspot for existing users as well as a place where the EZFlash team can provide information on their upcoming releases and projects they're working on. Because of how long the forum has existed, it has become a fantastic archive of troubleshooting issues with the EZFlash series of cards. This is simply one of the reasons why DSi users can buy EZFlash Vi cards with confidence!
